Position Information

Independently performs a variety of tasks in support of departmental training and educational programs; assists in the development and execution of training and employee development activities; coordinates, develops, and facilitates training courses; assists in identifying and evaluating training needs; maintains training records; and performs other related duties as required.  

Current Vacancy:  There is 1 vacancy with the Budget and Fiscal Services, Honolulu Liquor Commission (HLC). Under the general supervision of the Administrative Services Officer II, this position assists with the development and implementation of training objectives and plans for the Honolulu Liquor Commission . This position will assist the existing HLC Training Specialist and ASO II to enhance and expand training seminars, resources, and information to licensees, various civic and community groups, and HLC Staff.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.   

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school.  Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four years of clerical work experience, including or supplemented by two years of work experience in developing and/or conducting informative or instructional presentations.
