WOODBURY - A Philadelphia man was sentenced Friday to five years in New Jersey state prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Deptford Township girl last year.

Erwin Ramos, 26, pleaded guilty to the charges stemming from a July 2, 2015 incident, officials said.

Ramos, an immigrant in the country illegally from Guatemala, must register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law and is ordered to serve 15 years of parole after his release from prison. He is also subject to deportation after serving his prison sentence.

The judge also barred Ramos' family from contact with victim, according to a news release from the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
