Saying Thank-You Goes a Long Way!
At the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, there is no shortage of events. One of the many fantastic things about working here is the way in which we use events to celebrate our employees.
We recently held our annual Long Service Awards, a celebration that marks key service milestones. This year, employees marking 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year anniversaries at our centre were recognized for their commitment. This ceremony was particularly special as it was the first time we were able to celebrate those employees with 30-year service with the company!
It was amazing to see staff members with different levels of seniority being recognized for various long-term dedication to our company. As a Human Resources professional, I am especially proud that our organization has cultivated such a strong culture of recognition for employees. Sincere gestures of gratitude go a long way for companies that work to create an environment of respect, trust, and teamwork.
We’re always looking at new ways to recognize employees - How do you think companies should celebrate staff members?
