Miami defensive end becomes Auburn's second class of 2018 commitment

Auburn picked up its second class of 2018 commitment on Tuesday when Miami, Fla., standout Robert Hicks announced his commitment to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Hicks attends Booker T. Washington. He joins Jacksonville, Fla., quarterback Joey Gatewood as commitments to Auburn in the 2018 class. Assistants Wesley McGriff and Rodney Garner are listed on his 247Sports profile as his primary recruiters.

Hicks is not yet rated by recruiting services, but his offers besides Auburn included FIU, Florida Atlantic, Kentucky, Miami and Oregon State.
