Ever since I was a child and first saw the film version of Roald Dahl’s The Witches, the concept of living in a painting has haunted me. HAUNTED.

But this new development has me feeling otherwise. Enter: Van Gogh’s Bedroom at the Art Institute of Chicago—a real life, three-dimensional version of the artist’s iconic 1889 oil painting, “Bedroom in Arles.” (Specifically, this room is based on Van Gogh’s second of three versions of the painting.)

The original: “Bedroom in Arles,” version two.

According to Buzzfeed, the room was created in celebration of an extensive new Van Gogh exhibit, running at the museum from Feb. 14 through May 10.

Every detail of the chambre is exactly as it appears in the original artwork, with thick brushstrokes, colorful distressing, and heavy black outlines. The paintings on the walls (by Van Gogh, as well) are also the same as the ones the artist recreated in “Bedroom in Arles.”

But perhaps coolest of all… the room is available to be rented out nightly on Airbnb! The listing’s description—penned by “Vincent”—reads as follows:

“This room will make you feel like you’re living in a painting. It’s decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, reminiscent of Southern France and times gone by. Its furniture, bright colors, and artwork will give you the experience of a lifetime.”

It only costs $10 per stay, but good luck getting in there—it’s mysteriously booked solid through 2019.
