On her forthcoming album, “SWEVEN”, Waggoner finds herself revisiting her earliest work, including songs that she recorded throughout her childhood.

The new album reveals a maturing artist and musician, and an evolving outlook brewing since the release of her freshman EP, “Fresh Pair of Eyes.” Waggoner’s second album, “Heal for the Honey,” plumbs the depths of heartbreak and repair with a 70’s-esque pop lightness, while “Go Easy Little Doves” features lush, unbridled instrumentals. After debuting at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts, Waggoner went on to perform at Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza. In 2011, Waggoner recorded and toured with Jack White.

Andy Zipf, frontman to The Cowards Choir, has always been committed to growth, a work ethic he’s taken to stages and street corners across the U.S.

Zipf has consistently utilized his fan-base to support tours, fund albums, and share his story through social media connections. He rewards that loyalty with a commitment to creating music rooted in honesty. At his shows, Zipf gets on the floor and sings from the back row, turns the room into a cinema, and coats every surface with colors and old film. He looks for ways to create an experience that taps into equal parts rock and roll and big tent revival.

To create the “Reunion” EP, Zipf enlisted longtime friends and collaborators Adam Neubauer (drums) and Ryan Walker (bass/keys) to form The Cowards Choir. In 2014, the “Cool Currency” EP debuted. The core of each song was tracked live and the energy is palpable.

2015 opens yet another chapter for The Cowards Choir. Alissa Moore (violin) and Dayana Yochim (cello) have joined Zipf and Walker for a set of exciting new material.
