CAMDEN – A Voorhees man faces 30 years in prison for the 2012 fatal stabbing of his neighbor over pet birds.

David P. Giordano, 65, was found guilty Monday of aggravated manslaughter in the 2012 death of his neighbor Michael Taylor, 52.

Giordano, of Sherry Court, poured water on pet birds Taylor kept on his porch because the birds were chirping too loudly. Giordano stabbed Taylor multiple times with the knife when confronted, assistant prosecutor Nevan Soumilas said during the trial.

Giordano will be sentenced March 14.
