About Todd Nicholas

Senior Career Consultant and Lead Trainer

Todd received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1986. Upon graduation, he completed GE’s two-year Manufacturing Management Program and over the next 10 years held positions of increasing responsibility culminating with roles as Manufacturing Manager & Supplier Quality Manager at GE Transportation Systems in Erie, PA. Todd was trained as a Six Sigma Green Belt and received corporate management awards for Inventory Management, New Program Implementation and Organizational Leadership.

Todd was also intimately involved with GE’s corporate training and recruiting initiatives. Annual activities included conducting week-long professional development sessions at Crotonville, GE’s executive management training facility, and leading GE’s Technical Leadership Program recruiting at RIT for which he also received corporate recognition.

In 1999, Todd made a career change and founded his own career services firm in the Buffalo area specializing in management training, resume development, career counseling and placement services. He accepted the position of Career Transition Counselor and Coach for Career Partners International Buffalo | Niagara in 2003.

Todd continues to pursue his passion for training, counseling and career development. He recently achieved a “Master Counselor” designation and works with several hundred professional and executive outplacement candidates annually on resume development, career decisions, interviewing and negotiating job offers. Todd also develops and conducts interactive management training on a wide variety of critical leadership skills. He serves as a guest lecturer on leadership, motivation, organizational effectiveness and career topics for several area colleges.
