Out and About Northfield: Golf, Quarterback Club & El Triuinfo

By August 21, 2019 Out and About Northfield

We sat down with Noah Johnson, our intern, and chatted about some of his favorite things to do in Northfield and a few great restaurants in town.

One of my favorite places in Northfield is The Northfield Golf Club. The Golf Club is a place I try to go as often as possible. I not only love to play the game of golf but enjoy the challenges it offers. While it may seem like an easy or boring sport, golf challenges you physically and mentally. Being able to haul your golf bag all around the course is no easy task, but it is made better when I am able to use a cart. Golf has presented me with the opportunity to meet and play with a wide variety of great people. The Northfield Golf Club is a wonderful course with great people to make it the best of both worlds. This spring I had the opportunity to play with Bluewater in the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. This marked a three-year streak of being champions!

After a long day of golf, I like to head to town to get something to eat. I would say The Quarterback Club and El Triunfo have been my go-to food stops over the past year or so. I find them both to be quick options with excellent food. The Quarterback Club offers a variety of hamburgers, fried chicken, salads, wraps and so much more. It is a locally-owned restaurant that makes the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. If I am feeling like changing it up a bit, I check out El Triunfo. They have traditional food at a reasonable cost. If you are looking for a good, affordable and filling burrito, this is the place to go!
