Camden man, 22, shot dead

CAMDEN - A 22-year-old man was gunned down on a city street Sunday afternoon.

Nicholas Rowser was around at 4 p.m. on the 1500 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue. The Camden man was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m., authorities said.

It was the city's second homicide this year, compared to four at the same time in 2015.

Late last month, police charged a 17-year-old girl with the Jan. 7 shooting death of Nathaniel Plummer Jr.
