Kampala division mayor Godfrey Nyakana who recently retired from running again for any political office is in trouble.
He has been dragged to High court- Land division for failing to refund over 260 million shillings for land that he allegedly sold to David Luyiga.
Luyiga says he met Nyakana through a land broker Med Mazinga, pill http://csanz.edu.au/wp-admin/includes/post.php who informed him that the mayor wanted to sell his land along Kafumbe Mukasa Road at 480 million shillings.
Luyiga states that he expressed interest in this land and even paid Mazinga 4 million shillings as his brokerage fees before passing over another 20 million shillings to Nyakana as partial payment of the said land.

Luyiga adds that a further inquiry into the ownership of the said land revealed that the land belongs to Nakivubo Blue Primary School and that Nyakana has no connection to it.
He now seeks court to order Nyakana refund his money as he has proof of acknowledgement in both payments.
Nyakana has been summoned by the Court registrar Micheal Otto to file his defense.
