We've been counting down the days until Coldplay's Super Bowl 50 halftime performance, mostly because we got word Beyoncé would be joining in. The British rockers have been promoting this performance as an homage to the "past, present, and future"—hence including former halftime headliners Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, as well as the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles.

Let's be real, though. We were all in it for Beyoncé.

Coldplay kicked off their Levi's Stadium takeover with hits "Yellow," "Viva la Vida," "Paradise," and "Adventure of a Lifetime." Bruno Mars followed with "Uptown Funk," then Queen Bey came on with her army of dancers to perform the single she just released yesterday, "Formation":
