Report: Rochester shooting leaves one dead, seven injured

ROCHESTER, NY -- A shooting early Sunday morning in Rochester has left one person dead and seven people injured, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

The newspaper reported that the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. at The Mexican Village Night Club on the 500 block of State Street. One man, 29, died from his injuries, police told the newspaper.

The other victims were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, the newspaper reported.
