Description

Please join us for this intimate event to hear Bay Area designers Bianca Sotelo of A Fabulous Challenge, Sayre Victoria Ziskin of SVZ Interior Design, The LOCZIdesign Group, and Elena Calabrese of Elena Calabrese Design & Décor share about their distinctive styles, the creative processes that fuel them, and the value of incorporating handmade objects into contemporary design. The event will be moderated by Alf Nucifora, chairman of the Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco.

In honor of ACC’s 75th anniversary, this year’s Make Room theme, “In Space and Time,” asks designers to create spaces inspired by fine craft and iconic images from the 1940s to today, to illustrate the changing styles through the decades. Their dynamic room vignettes will be on display at this year’s American Craft Show in San Francisco.

The event is free, but registration is required. First come, first served. Space is limited to 70 guests.

Each attendee will receive the latest issue of American Craft magazine and a pair of complimentary tickets to the San Francisco show, where you can explore the handmade work of more than 230 top contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, and home décor artists from across the country. The show runs Friday, August 4, through Sunday, August 6, at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

Featuring: Complimentary appetizers and tastings of The Balvenie - the world’s most handcrafted single-malt Scotch whisky
