Catholic Youth Ministry

In the Gospel this week we hear about John the Baptist and how he testified and rejoiced about Christ’s arrival. As a prophet of the Lord he preached about his coming and was unafraid to speak about his glory. Reflecting on John, one cannot help but be reminded of their baptism along with the baptismal promises that were made then and reaffirmed when receiving confirmation. How are you living out these promises today? Are you living with the passion, dedication and commitment to Christ that we are called to by this commitment? What’s holding you back? What obstacles are in your way and what are you doing to remove them?
