Up to 13 jobs will be created with the opening of a new convenience store.
Building work is underway at the new Nisalocal shop in Saltburn .
The store off Marske Road, formerly a car showroom, will be run by North East Convenience and is expected to open on January 30.
Commercial director Dave Pickering said there will be two internal appointments but they are planning to make 12 to 13 appointments with people from the local area.
These will includes managers, supervisors and general shop assistants taken on at the shop.
“It’s been a bit derelict down there so it’s good for the area and we are very excited about it,” he said.
