Chloe Coscarelli Named Among Zagat’s Top 30 Under 30

Vegan entrepreneur and by CHLOE co-founder Chloe Coscarelli was recently named one of Zagat’s 30 Rock Starts Redefining the Industry Under 30 in New York thanks to her critically acclaimed and ever-expanding vegan empire. Not even yet a year old, Coscarelli’s brand has exploded, with three outposts of her fast-casual eateries opened so far (two in New York, one in Los Angeles), with a bakery and three more restaurants in New York and Boston in the works. Aside from the latest accolade, the 28-year-old chef is also a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute and first made her public debut when she won the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars—using her vegan recipes to beat omnivorous competition. “I want to show people that vegan food doesn’t have to taste like cardboard or use ‘scary’ vegan ingredients,” she said. Coscarelli’s restaurant celebrates its first anniversary July 28, and is celebrating with a gift card sweepstakes and special-edition birthday cake confections.
