WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER AT OUR SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CLINICS?

STIs are caused by infections that are passed from one person to another during sexual contact. Common infections include: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Genital Warts, Trichomoniasis, Syphilis, Hepatitis, and HIV/AIDS

Choosing a birth control method is a personal decision based on many factors, including birth control effectiveness, lifestyle, and personal choice. We offer all FDA approved reversible birth control methods at our clinics including: Implant (Nexplanon), Hormonal Intrauterine Contraception (IUCs) (Liletta, Mirena and Kyleena), Copper IUC (Paragard) Injection (Depo Provera), Vaginal Ring (Nuva Ring), The Patch, Oral Contraceptives (The Pill) External/Male Condom and Internal/Female Condom, Diaphragm and Cervical Cap (FemCap), Information on Fertility Awareness Based Methods (including Natural Family Planning), and Spermicides (Foam, Gel, Film).

Emergency contraception is also available and includes Plan B (“The Morning After Pill”), Ella, and the IUCs. You have up to five days after unprotected sex to use emergency contraception and is most effective the sooner you take them after unprotected sex.

We can help you get HIV prevention medication, including PrEP and nPEP.
PrEP is short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. PrEP is intended for anyone who does not have HIV but who is at increased risk of acquiring HIV. It can be taken as a pill every day or as an injection (Apretude). Injections are given every other month after the initiation injection which is given 1 month apart for 2 months in a row.

nPEP is short for non-occupational Post-Exposure Prophylaxis and is taken if you are HIV negative or don’t know your HIV status, and may have been exposed to HIV in the last 72 hours. An exposure to HIV includes unprotected sex with a known or likely positive partner, needle exposure, or sexual assault. nPEP lowers your chances of getting HIV, and you must take it 1-2 times a day for at least 28 days.

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes inflammation of the liver. The virus can cause both acute (short term) and chronic (long term) illness including liver cirrhosis and cancer. We treat Hepatitis C with FDA approved antiviral medications.

Gender affirming hormone therapy consists of either feminizing (estradiol and/or testosterone blockers) or masculinizing (testosterone) hormones. Many transgender and non-binary people take hormone therapy as part of a gender transition to help their bodies and appearance align with their gender identity.
