The Whitney High School Athletic Department has several positions as part of its Student Intern Program. The selected interns will be enrolled in a class period with the Athletic Director and be expected to work outside the normal school day as well. The interns will receive equipment and supplies from the Athletic Department necessary to be successful in their position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Minimum GPA of 2.75, no major disciplinary offenses in your file and no major attendance issues.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - An eye for detail, excellent communication skills, solid computer skills, interest in athletics, ability and desire to work with the public, ability to work in a team-oriented work environment, student in the 11th or 12th grade

SALARY/CONTRACT - Athletic apparel provided (warm-up suit, t-shirts, shorts, etc.), community service hours, all access ID card for any athletic event, other various incentives from the Athletic Department
