Anthony Samuel Long, who lists himself as homeless, was booked into Shawnee County Jail at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday, jail records said.

Bond was set Wednesday at $100,000 for a 26-year-old man arrested in connection with aggravated human trafficking and a series of felony offenses.

Anthony Samuel Long, who lists himself as homeless, was booked into Shawnee County Jail at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday, jail records said.

Long was booked into jail on 11 offenses, but during Long’s first appearance hearing, Shawnee County District Judge William Ossmann found probable cause didn’t exist to hold Long on five counts.

Long is in jail in connection with an aggravated human trafficking charge and contributing to a child’s misconduct, indecent solicitation of a child, aggravated intimidation of a witness, probation violation of a felony conviction, and making criminal threats.

As of Wednesday, Ossman found there wasn’t probable cause to hold Long on two conspiracy charges, endangering a child, electronic solicitation, and sexual exploitation of a child.

After Long said he didn't have money to hire a defense attorney, Ossmann appointed an attorney to represent him.

When arrested on Tuesday, Long was on intensive supervised probation after he pleaded no contest in 2015 to making a criminal threat, according to court records. On Oct. 15, he was placed on ISP in the case.

Long also has convictions for violating a protection order, domestic battery and theft, a court services officer told Ossmann.

If Long posts bond, it must be cash or professional surety.
