Oakland Raiders defensive end Justin Tuck announced his retirement Monday.
Tuck, 32, made the announcement on Facebook and said he is walking away with "very few regrets."

Tuck was selected in the third round of the 2005 draft by the New York Giants, where he played the first nine years of his 11-year career, winning two Super Bowls. In an interview with The Michael Kay Show on 98.7 ESPN, Tuck said he plans to retire as a Giant.
Tuck joined the Raiders before the 2014 season.
"Justin Tuck has been an invaluable part of the Raiders organization since the day he arrived here," Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said Monday. "Everyone in the building appreciates all that he has done both on and off the field. His leadership in the locker room and mentorship of young players like Khalil Mack is immeasurable. The Raiders wish him and his family the absolute best."
Raiders teammate Derek Carr, former Giants teammate Osi Umenyiora and Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt were among NFL players to salute Tuck via their social media accounts.

In a Facebook post of his own, former Giants punter Steve Weatherford also praised Tuck.
Recounting an anecdote from Super Bowl XLVI, Weatherford said, "Now, every time, I put on that Super Bowl Ring, I'm proud to know that I played an important role in earning it and it's largely due to the affirmation that you gave me."
An All-Pro in 2008, Tuck finishes his career with 66½ sacks, 22 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and three interceptions over 147 career games.
