Dear Maryvale Families, Alumnae and Friends, The Maryvale Lions did it again. A second championship in the 2015-2016 school year! Maryvale’s Indoor Track Team captured the IAAM title on Friday night, dominating the League Championships at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex. Given their strong performance throughout the season, the Lions were favored to upset powerhouse McDonogh. And they did not disappoint. Friday's honor represents Maryvale's second championship in the past three months. Maryvale's Cross Country Team earned its first A Conference title on Oct. 27, 2015 at Stevenson University. Who knows? Maybe we will have another championship victory to celebrate by then. Meantime, please join us in congratulating Athletic Director Terri Moeser, Assistant Athletic Director Marce Fackler Hughes '88, Head Coach Jason Miller, Assistant Coaches Kyle Reagan, Rob Hritz, Katie Askine, Lauren Pierce '10, Megan Wall, Kayleen Schmidt '11, Heather Nerenberg '13 and our indoor track and field champions.
