WILLIAMPORT, Pa. – College of Saint Elizabeth dealt Penn College an 85-66 setback in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Saturday. The Eagles improved to 7-10 overall, 7-5 NEAC, while the Wildcats fell to 3-12, 3-10.
Jamie Steer pumped in a game-high 26 points for Penn College and grabbed eight rebounds.
Alicia Ross finished with 24 points and five boards for the Wildcats.
Ashley Pledger led CSE with 22 points, Deja Ingram and Sharolin Sanders each notched double-doubles with 14 points and 13 rebounds and 14 points and 17 boards, respectively, and LaChe Robinson added 12 points.
The Eagles led 21-11 after the first and 42-28 at halftime.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 3 p.m., at Morrisville State.
