When you have the idea and the will to bring it to reality, there is nothing stopping you from jumping on the startup bandwagon. With the same notion in mind, 20 years Alankar launched his first startup that offered free advice on legal, taxation and business matters. Alankar has always been a visionary with an eye to finding upcoming trends. With startup arena getting heated up, he found the need to legal services, which was the reason behind the launch of The Suits.

Today The Suits provides legal services all over the world specializing in providing legal services to startups and growing ventures. The Suits, in its attempt of going international, has been working on a perfect plan for a Legal Process Outsourcing branch and has finally launched it. Alankar is also authoring a book for first-time entrepreneurs that should be out soon.

Please provide a brief overview of your product/ service.

The Suits basically offers all types of legal services that a law firm can provide. We offer legal documentation, litigation, drafting, translations and much more. We are different because our work speaks for itself. We promise a 48 hour delivery period and give a true picture to the client, we also provide multiple revisions and never hesitate and we provide all this at 1/5th of the prevailing market rates. We also promise a 24 hour delivery period if a customer so requires. Also, we agree that there are websites and companies offering such services but my question to the client always is that ‘ Will they stand up if something goes wrong?’ the answer is a direct No and that is so because they are providing multiple services at their website with a vast network of freelance lawyers whereas we have a fixed team who have been with us since day 1.

What inspired you to build the above product/ service?

When I joined Law, I was looking for Bare Acts online and I could not find any website offering the same. After the semester exams I began the work on the website and when we initially launched, we offered free legal advice and legal resources. However, after seeing the growing demand for Legal Services and an unregulated market we started providing Affordable Legal Premium Services to startups in March 2015 and have served numerous startups until date.

What is your life mantra?

Get out of your comfort zone.

What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?

The most challenging part of my journey has been to spread the word, advertise, manage the clients and their work and the team, etc. However, today when I look back, all of these things look so small.

How did you overcome those challenges?

I overcame the challenges by seeking the help of those in the field and by constantly reading and changing myself and the company. You can never be stagnant if you are starting up and that is what kept us going forward even when we were just a free resource portal.

Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.

We have not been able to fetch any investments as we haven’t looked for as yet. We prioritize customer satisfaction and with an investment, companies tend to become more profit oriented.

Motivated, Hustling and Hard Working
