Soprano Cara O'Sullivan remembered - five great performances

The opera world is reeling from the news that the beloved Irish soprano Cara O'Sullivan has passed away at the tragically young age of 59.

A frequent collaborator with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, here she is at the RTÉ Radio Centre with the RTÉ CO and conductor David Brophy, recording Ennio Morricone's theme from Once Upon a Time in the West for Miriam Meets on RTÉ Radio 1 as part of RTÉ Big Music Week 2010.

From 2011, three of Ireland's best-loved sopranos - Cara, Celine Byrne and Regina Nathan - perform Brindisi from La Traviata with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra live on The John Murray Show on RTÉ Radio 1.
