Kubiak said the Broncos are “giving everything they’ve got” in preparation and effort to play the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. “When you keep grinding you get better.”

Manning again dismissed an accusation of him using human growth hormone, welcoming an NFL investigation of the allegation. He asserted that the accusation was “garbage the day it was made, and it is garbage today.”

About the Panthers, Manning said the opponent is an outstanding team in all three game phases of offense, defense, and special teams. The Panthers are “fast and physical team.” Their style of play “creates turnovers and short fields” to start offensive drives.

To face the Panthers, Manning said that the Broncos cannot just rely on its defense. About the passing phase of the Broncos’ offense, “We can improve, and we want to improve. We will do everything we can to be the best we can.”

Responding the report that he told New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick that Super Bowl 50 might be his “last rodeo.” Manning wryly said “no confirmation on that. We are on to Carolina,” imitating Belichick’s oft-quoted “we’re on to Cincinnati.”

Manning affirmed that the three practice days in Colorado were crucial to prepare for the Super Bowl game.
