The Landings Association is pleased to present Science on Tap: Everyday Physics of Energy.

Energy separates modern civilization from a prehistoric existence. It allows us to heat and cool our homes, feed ourselves, and travel over what used to be inconceivable distances. It drives the world's economy, provokes international conflicts, and plays a role in the long-term stability of the Earth's climate. Join Armstrong State University’s Dr. William Baird as he examines primary sources and uses of energy, and how those can be expected to change in the future through simple science that everyone can enjoy and understand.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. in Delegal Creek Marina's Sunset Pavilion and will be followed by a brief Q & A session.
