1st-quarter update: Ohio State got out to a quick start and lead 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Buckeyes' two scores were a two-yard run by Ezekiel Elliott and a 15-yard touchdown pass from J.T. Barrett to Michael Thomas.
2nd-quarter update: Elliott rushed for his second and third touchdown of the game, but a late touchdown run by DeShone Kizer kept the Irish in the game. Ohio State leads Notre Dame 28-14 at halftime.
