'Happiness' at Audemars Piquet

'Happiness' at Audemars Piquet

We recently finished work on the second edition of a 70 page internal magazine for luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Audemars Piquet (AP) called 'Happiness'. We produced two language versions – French and English which targets Audemars Piquet's own staff.

We developed a new look for the magazine revolving around the concept of happiness and delivered through the masthead, a vibrant colour palette, classic and evocative typography, clean grids, editorial and a distinctive on-brand use of background elements.

‘Happiness’ is about the people who make the watches, design them and sell them, the teams plus the inspirational AP collaborations that fuel creativity. ‘Happiness’ embodies the AP spirit and everything it does. It’s a reflection of the AP values respect, integrity, passion, people, inclusivity and fun.

The magazine style has as it’s main backdrop the AP corporate style forming the main basis of the design of the magazine. It speaks of integrity, respect, passion and inclusivity. Layered on top of this is what we call the ‘Happiness’ layer – a visual embodiment of the AP spirit and values, with its focus on the people, passion and fun elements.

We think it looks great and the client is extremely happy with the resultant feedback very positive.
