Mister’s Golden Goal Lifts No. 15 Tigers Over Iowa State

AMES, Iowa – The No. 15 Memphis Tigers continued their winning streak, defeating the Cyclones of Iowa State 1-0 after Aubrey Mister scored the Golden Goal in the 98' of play.
 
Following tonight's match, the Tigers move to 6-0-1 for the season. 
 
KEY MOMENTS
  • The Tigers struggled to find the back of the net to open the game; Memphis recorded 15 shots during regulation with seven of them being on-goal.
  • While overtime lasted just over eight minutes, the Tigers were able to fire off five more shots against Iowa State's defense.
  • Memphis' defense held the Cyclones to just four shots the entire match – while just two of them were recorded on-goal.
  • Mister broke the deadlocked game in the 98' of play when Caroline Duncan sent a ball into the box and found the left foot of Mister for her third goal of the season.
