Heald College has been providing quality education to California residents for more than 150 years. Heald's tens of thousands of graduates have been able to successfully transition to the work force utilizing their career-focused education. We are currently going through a sale process, but find ourselves in grave danger of being closed because of unreasonable and unnecessary demands being made by lawyers in the Attorney General's Office who have sued our parent company. We want the Office of the Attorney General to remove any impediments to the sale process. Blocking the sale of Heald College only serves to punish our students and employees. All we ask is that the California Attorney General's Office not impose unreasonable demands on a buyer or require a settlement of the lawsuit with our parent company, so that Heald College can survive under new ownership and continue to serve our 9,000 students and employ our 1,500 employees.
