Now that the end of another year is among us, it is time to sit back and reflect. Where were you on this day last year? What about two years ago? I know I was in a very different place a year ago than I am now. A lot has changed -- both good and bad. Do I regret anything? No.

Everything is constantly changing and it will continue to change from now until the end of time. Change is a good thing. Without change there would be nothing. We would all still be hunting and gathering food in fields and living in caves (not that there is anything inherently wrong with that. If that is your choice of lifestyle, then all the power to you!). However, the nature of our society is to be constantly changing, constantly growing, and constantly evolving. Of the many changes that we undergo each year, one that is always drastically changing is technology.

This year alone has seen some crazy and amazing advances in technology. The rise and fall of Bitcoin (did you invest?), advances in AI, self-driving cars, robots that can play soccer, the expansion of cloud programs and apps, the Facebook data scandal. The list goes on.

The point I am trying to make here is that things change a lot, and often times unexpectedly. However, with our decades of experience and countless and highly knowledgeable staff, we like to think we have a pretty good idea about what those changes will be.
