Adam Lambert, the runner-up of American Idol season 8, lands atop Forbes’ recently-released list of Top-Earning American Idols Of 2015. With the news, Lambert dethrones Country queen Carrie Underwood, who held the title in 2014 and 2013, and earns his first year on top of the coveted list.

The publication credits the Queen tour, where Lambert performs as the lead singer, for the extra income, which they estimate to total around $10 million.

Underwood, who won season 4 of the hit show, ranks second this year with an estimated income of $8 million. Live shows and sales of her newest album Storyteller, contribute to her earnings.

Also on the list are Scotty McCreery and Kelly Clarkson, who tied for fifth place with estimated earnings of $4 million each.
