Looking for a spot to grab a cocktail with your furry friend? Canine to Five has announced its 2022 Drinking with Dogs events just in time for summer.

This year’s events will take place at The Skip on May 24, Hammer & Nail on June 15, Commerce Public House on June 23, The Congregation on July 26, Old Miami on Aug. 16, and Detroit City Distillery on Sept. 21. A Drinking with Dogs Halloween Costume Contest will also be held at a to-be-determined date and location.

“We are so excited to start this summer tradition for our four-legged friends and their owners at The Skip. It is one of our largest parties every year,” says Canine to Five owner Liz Blondy in a press release. “With our new location in Commerce, we are also hosting our first Drinking with Dogs in that area in June with Michigan Humane. Our events are a great chance for dog lovers to get together and meet new people.”

Founded in 2005, Canine to Five offers dog daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Along with its new Commerce spot, the business also has locations in Detroit and Ferndale.

There is no cost to attend the Drinking with Dog events, and attendees do not have to be Canine to Five clients to participate. Dog owners are asked to keep their pets on their leash.
