Arteriors appoints national lighting sales manager

Home décor company hires Chris Berumen

Lighting, accent furniture and decorative accessories provider Arteriors has appointed Chris Berumen as national lighting sales manager, charged with leading the company’s residential and commercial lighting business.

Berumen will grow the company’s lighting business with new and existing customers covering lighting showrooms, electrical distributors and plumbing showrooms. In the position, he will lead field sales representatives in tools and programs to give clients the most efficient, seamless experience.

“Lighting is a strong category for Arteriors and Chris brings the perfect expertise to our team to help us continue to strategically expand our lighting business and ensure that our current clients receive the best possible care,” said Mark Moussa, founder and creative director of Arteriors. “We feel confident that Chris’s skill set will take our lighting business to the next level in this hands-on leadership role.”

Berumen brings more than 12 years of lighting sales management and strategy implementation to Arteriors. He previously worked in sales at Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls, Toshiba International Corporation and Eye Lighting International of North America. He has served as an instructor for Fundamental of Lighting through Illuminating Engineering Society local chapters in Houston and Dallas.

Arteriors’ lighting business currently incorporates pendants, sconces, chandeliers and table and floor lamps offered in a wide spectrum of styles in luxury materials and finishes scaled specifically for design professionals. With lighting certifications in 46 countries and the ability to meet a wide range of specifications, Arteriors provides a diverse offering of lighting ranging from modern portable collections to ornate chandeliers.
