A Baltimore City police officer has been banned from the city circuit courts because he allegedly used his phone to videotape a witness.Fabien Laronde was in a courtroom hallway when the alleged incident happened on Nov. 30. The witness was in court to testify in a case in which Laronde was the arresting officer.According to the incident report, the witness claimed Laronde threatened him.WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team lead investigative reporter Jayne Miller was standing next to the witness when the alleged filming happened.Cameras are not permitted in the courthouses. The Sheriff's Office seized Laronde's phone.An investigation is underway.Laronde is suspended with pay due to an off-duty incident in October.He has been the target of multiple complaints and lawsuits filed by city residents.
