After years of awful sequel flops, things are finally beginning to look up for the Terminator franchise. Shooting recently began for the sixth film in the franchise, simply titled Terminator, and set photos provide a first look at Linda Hamilton’s momentous return as Sarah Connor!
These photos are courtesy of the Terminator Fans website and we can see Hamilton looking like a total badass, decked out in a bulletproof vest and shades.
Other set photos have also surfaced, showing Hamilton with a toned physique, looking fierce and ready to shoot down some cyborgs.
This installment is set as a direct sequel to the stories of The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, thankfully ignoring the trainwreck of its three predecessors. James Cameron, having regained the rights to the franchise, is in the producer’s seat with Deadpool‘s Tim Miller serving as director.
Seems like the franchise is heading in a much-welcome new direction, returning to its roots by bringing back familiar faces, since Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be a part of the cast, along with Mackenzie Davis, Diego Boneta, and Gabriel Luna.
