MARSHFIELD – Representatives from Enbridge Energy Company, Inc. donated a pickup truck to the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department on Tuesday.

In addition to the vehicle donation, Enbridge partnered with the Marshfield Fire Department to supplement their food donation to Rotary Winter Wonderland, according to an Enbridge news release. Rotary Winter Wonderland is an annual event at the city's Wildwood Zoo to collect donations for local food pantries.

The truck donation to the Marshfield Fire Department and the food donation was a “great opportunity for Enbridge to show how much we appreciate the work of Fire Chief Bob Haight and his department, and everything they do for this community," said John Gauderman, director of Chicago region operations at Enbridge. "We are very happy to provide this truck to the Marshfield Fire Department and food this holiday season to families in need.”

Fire Chief Robert Haight said the truck will be used by the department for a variety of purposes including hauling the trailer for hazardous material responses.

Enbridge is an energy delivery company based in Calgary, Canada. It focuses on the transportation, distribution and generation of energy, primarily in North America. One of the company's pipelines runs through Marshfield. The donations are part of the company's community investment program which has awarded 40 grants to Wisconsin organizations and emergency response departments during 2014-2015.
