Check out Lobster Fest winners

Winners from Schooners’ 27th annual Lobster Festival & Tournament were announced after scales closed at 3 p.m. Sunday. The winning lobsters were sold during a live auction Sunday, with proceeds benefiting the Florida Aquatic Marine Institute and Toys for Kids. Those proceeds from the auction combined with raffle ticket sales raised close to $10,000 for the charities.

Here are the winners in all three dive tournament categories:

SPINY

First place: John Pipkin – 8.9 pounds

Second place: Mark Elliott – 8.9 pounds

Third place: Tommy Hallman – 8.2 pounds

SHOVELNOSE

First place: Clint Iles – 1.7 pounds

Second place: James Kosier – 1.4 pounds

Third place: Mike Salow – 1.4 pounds

BIG 6:

First place: Mark Elliot – 45.4 pounds

Second place: John Pipkin – 40.3 pounds

Third place: Troy Branham – 30.3 pounds
