Syracuse Basketball: Predictions for ACC road trip vs Virginia Tech

The Syracuse basketball squad starts their three game road trip in the ACC with a trip to Blacksburg to face the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday evening.

The Syracuse basketball squad has been living and dying by their three pointer during conference play and it has worked out beautifully. The Orange have won seven of their last eight games and are tied for first place in the ACC at 5-1.

While the Hokies are not quite as good in conference (4-2), they’re a top-10 team in the country with some impressive wins on the resume (beat No. 23 Purdue). This team has three losses on the season, but they all came on the road (vs Penn State, vs Virginia, and vs North Carolina). Two of those are against top-25 foes and the Penn State loss was by a single point.

Syracuse will be facing another team who lacks depth and perhaps once again they’ll be able to use that to their advantage.
