VINELAND - Police are trying to trace a Vineland mom traveling with her infant daughter after her vehicle was found abandoned on Route 55 over the weekend.

Neidy Ramirez, 34, and her 3-month-old daughter, Genesis Ramirez, were last seen Friday in the Vineland area and had attended a Thanksgiving dinner with her family, police said, noting it was her family who reported her missing.

Ramirez’s vehicle, a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, was found abandoned Saturday afternoon on northbound Route 55, near milepost 45.3 in Gloucester County, by N.J. State Police. The vehicle was seen by a Ramirez family friend early Saturday morning in the same spot it was recovered by the state police.
