As a SkyWest A&P mechanic, you will work on the entire aircraft and effectively troubleshoot our growing fleet of CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900 and E175 aircraft.

Interested A&P applicants must apply online; SkyWest will reach out to qualified applicants to schedule an interview. Applicants need to arrive at the interview with an updated resume and be able to indicate the development of mechanical aptitude in addition to their schooling.  

A&P Mechanics at SkyWest receive pay at the top of the regional industry with new mechanics starting between $26 to $33 depending on location, shift, and experience. Plus, SkyWest mechanics receive performance bonuses, profit sharing and excellent 401(k) match. Pay details will be discussed at the interview.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

SkyWest A&P Mechanics are highly proficient in their tasks and ensure the safe operation of every SkyWest aircraft. A&P mechanics must comply with FAA regulations and GMPM procedures as they perform maintenance on CRJ and ERJ aircraft. Like all aviation professionals, mechanics can expect to work weekends, holidays, nightshifts, overtime and road trips as needed.
