Please share a little about yourself, your genres,
any other pen names you use.
I live in the UK, in a very small place in
Yorkshire. I’m married and own one very
adorable little pooch. (Yes, I’m biased but she’s so cute!) Up until now I’ve
written Young Adult books but I’ve always felt like an Adult – Chick-Lit book
was inside me so I wrote it!
Tell us a little about your latest or upcoming
release.
Hope at Christmas is a romance with a twist, the
twist being Hope refusing to follow any of the romance rules and pretty much
fighting the attraction Meet Hope. Feisty, clueless about life and now jobless.
After she throws coffee on Daniel Tudor she doesn’t believe her life can get
any worse…but it can. Daniel knows what
he wants, and what he wants it to get under Hope’s hard exterior.
There’s a battle on his hands but he’s never stepped
down from a challenge yet.
Have you ever based your book or characters on
actual events or people from your own life?
I based the Soul Keeper Trilogy books on my
siblings. I told them when I became a published author I would include them in
my books, little did they know I would sign them up to such an adventure. A
map, deadly creatures, ghosts and Death, the puppeteer.
The series was great fun to write!
What would your readers be surprised to learn about
you?
I’m quite a normal person really, okay… maybe a
little of the loopy side… I suppose one thing I can do it touch my nose with my
tongue.
When you’re not writing what do you do? Do you have
any hobbies or guilty pleasures?
I read, a lot! I’m also very creative, I like to
create jewelry and sew. I recently made
a book clock and I love it!
Of all the characters you’ve ever written, who is
your favorite and why?
I have a soft spot for Jack. (Pendle Hill
books) He’s my first book crush that I
put into my books. He’s strong, pigheaded, can be mean but he loves fiercely
and I love him because he’s gorgeous! He will always be my first!
If this book is part of a series…what is the next
book? Any details you can share?
Hope at Christmas is part of the Serendipity Series,
the next book is super secret… I can only share that it will be fun, sexy and
involve a certain spunky woman! I’m hoping for a release Spring 2016!

With only 25 days left until Christmas day, Hope makes the rash decision to quit her job. After a weekend wallowing in self pity, she takes this new opportunity to finally get the job she’s always wanted...only she doesn’t know what she wants to do... She doesn’t think her life can get any worse.
Until she throws coffee on a stranger.
Having finally told his parents that he planned to never follow his father’s footsteps in business, Daniel’s morning didn’t start out that well either.
Until a woman throws coffee on him.
This chance meeting sets off a chain of events. A wedding. Downton Abbey. The roaring 20’s...and a drunk, sexually frustrated cousin. Neither of them are prepared for this connection, but when does romance ever run a smooth course? With secrets and exes throwing road blocks their way, will it all become too much and end their blossoming romance before it’s even begun?
About the Author:
Keeley Smith is the author of Young Adult series, The Pendle Hill Series and The Soul Keeper Trilogy.
When she’s not writing, she’s reading, eating (chocolate, usually), spending time with her husband and gorgeous dog and colouring- because a genius created colouring books for adults!
She lives in the UK, but would prefer to live somewhere less likely to experience all four seasons in one day.
