Sandwiches, salads, and bowls aren’t the only options for lunch anymore. Toastique is an emerging concept based in Washington, D.C. that was born out of founder Brianna Keefe’s love for toast.

The 40+-unit fast-casual brand boasts a menu of fresh, produce-centric open-faced toasts, smoothies, acai bowls, and juices, with options ranging from the classic avocado toast to a smoked salmon option.

Toastique was named a 2024 Hot Concepts winner by Nation’s Restaurant News and recently opened its first location in New York City. Senior Editor Joanna Fantozzi recently visited the location and tried out a variety of healthy, colorful items. Stream the above video for a sneak peek.
