Best Places To Go When Comparing SharePoint Migration Tools

Best Places To Go When Comparing SharePoint Migration Tools

Over my many years as a SharePoint expert I've found a common trend in migration projects. Time and time again, either the migration starts in the new year, or the research and planning begins in full force. So it's very timely that a solution integrator put out a blog post of their experience with the most common SharePoint Migration tools.

These tools are born of SharePoint. They understand the complexities, and they continue to be leaders within the market.

Of course I am going to have some bias. But, truth-be-told, I've used every product on this list during my many years as a consultant. If you're interested in what other companies are saying about the best migration tools in the business, I've put together a round-up of comparisons.

  • Each migration tool has a set of distinct features. Trigent breaks it down and explains which features are the most important to note.
  • Xgility takes on each distinct product for migration and explains it out right.
  • For a simple, straight-forward pros and cons list of each tool available, check out Portal Solution's list.
  • Great tips to think about when planning a migration from MVP Mike Maadarani
