The Thing You're Doing That Might Be Messing Up Your Laser Hair-Reduction Sessions

While chatting with my laser hair reduction guru Rose at Fountain MedSpa in New York City (you know, as you do with your lower body stripped naked), we discussed some of the things she finds that her clients do that slow their results. One that I hadn't really thought of: taking hair supplements to make hair grow faster. Sure, they make your hair long and lustrous, but the results aren't geo-targeted—they make your hair grow all over your body too. Does this mean supplements and laser hair reduction shouldn't mix? No. But you have to keep in mind that if you've paid for a laser package and you're also taking hair-growth-stimulators, you might need a few extra sessions—or just accept the fact that your results may never quite get to the "doesn't need to shave at all" stage. It's a trade-off, and it makes sense when you think about it. But, apparently, a lot of people don't make the connection. Want to know more about supplements? Find out all about the stuff Gwyneth Paltrow swears by. And on the laser hair-reduction front, you can read about the one I find hurts the least here.
