Both Sides Now: Electric Storm by Brighter Sound published on 2020-04-30T20:30:34Z Both Sides Now: Electric Storm was a residency inspired by electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire, and White Noise’s 1969 seminal album An Electric Storm. In Jan 2020 14 of the North’s most innovative music creators, producers and digital artists worked alongside Delia Derbyshire Day artists, with special access to the Delia Derbyshire Archive held at The John Rylands Library, to create their own ‘Electric Storm’ which premiered on 24 Jan at an exclusive sharing at Spirit Studios. This recording is taken from the second performance on 9 Mar as part of Sounds Like THIS Festival at Leeds Conservatoire.
