Awful customer service

Awful customer service, been waiting for my phone to arrive for the past 4 days. Have taken 3 full days off work, waiting in all day and no phone has still arrived. Delivery been cancelled on 3 separate occasions and I have only been notified after 6pm. It’s my Eid today and I’ve been waiting for my phone to arrive since 11 in the morning. Absolute shambles. Worst company to deal with!!!

Should have gone to a shop

Ordered a phone last weekend hoping it would arrive on Monday, then told out of stock. It arrived on Friday with no charger or headphones - I’m unable to set up as it’s not accepting the verification code. Tried ringing them numerous times and left a message with no luck, this phone will be going back on Monday if they can’t sort it

Attempted to purchase 5 Samsung Sim…

Attempted to purchase 5 Samsung Sim Free phones for a business, Direct Mobiles happily took full payment in advance, constantly missed delivery dates. Eventually received a full refund.

Went directly to Samsung purchased 5 units through their online shop, delivered within 36 hours.

If your a business user requiring more than 1 phone, user another vendor, if purchasing 1 phone then this company as a good as anyone.

Great choice of handsets and tariffs with top customer service

Great choice of handsets and tariffs. My choice of handset was ready and available for upgrade on my current contract. Ordering was very easy and straight forward. Customer service was spot on with quick replies considering it was the weekend, delivery was spot on too which was great. Will definitely be back again when my next upgrade comes around. Top service, quality phones. What more can I say other than thank you very much

Good

Phone is good better than my previous one (which broken due to stopping charging). However I didn’t know that the only thing I receive is the phone and SIM card (basically a second hand phone in working condition). For what I am paying I would have liked to have been made aware of this thoroughly beforehand before purchasing the phone.

I am very pleased at the service…

I am very pleased at the service offered by Direct Mobiles. Even after I ordered my new phone they contacted me to inform me of a potential problem, which I knew about, before dispatching my new phone. A less scrupulous supplier would have just sent it regardeless. Unfortunately the delay in my replying meant that my phone became out of stock. However the replacement arrived as indicated,when stocks were replenished. I did also have a query about my SIM card which they promptly responded to and resolved my query. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Best deal for years!

Although to the untrained eye, it can be difficult to navigate the prices, I found this relatively easy, and found myself the most excellent deal. The phone came quickly and everyone at every level that I encountered were extremely helpful. I have had my contract for a few months now and I am still extremely pleased.

Direct Mobiles are Great.....
Took out an iPhone contract for my grandson and was over the moon with the all round,professional,helpful,friendly service and fantastic prices.
Have just upgraded which was so easy to do over the phone and David (Trigg) was so great to deal with.He was brilliant with customer service, so helpful & informative with the upgrade.
My grandson and I are sooo.... pleased.

I have to be honest

I have to be honest, I saw the same deals in store, so the deal was not anything special but wanted to order online for direct delivery.

This was fine and the device was delivered without any trouble. But the discount they advertised to bring it to the same price as retail was never applied and I was charge more than retail.

Not sure I would order again.


EDIT Oct 9th: Emilie from DirectMobiles reached out to me to investigate what had happened. I was impressed with her care and willing to reach out to EE to get the matter sorted directly.
Added an extra star as i feel more secure ordering from them again. Especially if they have staff as great as this :)

No better phone provider in my opinion

Bought from Direct Mobiles numerous times & always got the best deals with the latest phone. Customer service is always spot on & could port my old number over. Cant recommend them enough.

They reported me for a fake review

They reported me for a fake review. It was reinstated. I reported them for making fake reviews, and included evidence. They don’t even have a shop and apparently a customer was shown around a shop. Direct Mobiles didn’t report that review for being fake. Direct Mobiles didn’t respond after the reinstatement or edit. Trustpilot didn’t respond so here is another 1 star review for this experience.

I have ordered two phones through…

I have ordered two phones through Direct Mobiles and the customer service has been great on both of them.
Sales team are very helpful and friendly and delivery times are also great.
I always recommended Direct Mobiles to friends/family when they’re thinking about buying a new phone.

A Very Smooth Experience

I ordered my new phone mid week with next day delivery ready for a business trip on Sunday. I was initially informed that due to low stock it would be up to 5 days late but I had an email on the Friday saying it was arriving on Saturday. The handset arrived with no issues at all. Overall, buying this handset and contract was pretty much perfect with no complaints from me. It was also the best deal on the market for the handset I wanted at the time so I got a massive bargain.

I took an offer from Direct Mobiles 2…

I took an offer from Direct Mobiles 2 years ago, and I was/am happy with the choice I have made.
The service was quick, easy and understandable for anyone.
Look forward to using them again in the next month as my contract is due to expire and they present quite the best offers on the market.

Definitely recommend.

Good company but issues with insurance.

Dealing with Direct Mobilleawas fast and easy. Very good service all round. The only issue I found was the phone insurance in my opinion was not fit for purpose. I would buy from Direct Mobiles again but unless they change the insurance company will never insure with them.

Good Value for money compared to other…

Good Value for money compared to other mobile phone providers.

I was fairly sceptical prior to taking out a contract via a website, as this was a 1st for me. Only down side to my purchase was my application being rejected, owing to a 'failed credit check'; which was puzzling as i have an excellent credit rating. After contacting my current service provider via email, i was able overturn the decision, forwarding on the email confirmation for verification.

Overall, i would use again.

Mis-description

Bought what I thought based on the description a one month data package with ee and wifi dongle actually is a minimum 2 month package if you want to cancel the contract. Should have been clearly stated rather than sold as a one month contract.

Overall I would recommend Direct Mobiles to everyone, but the was an issue of up to date information on the website. The problem encountered was that the phone I ordered was no longer available (black Nokia 8). and there was a delay in notifying me of this fact. If the availability of the phone was accurately portrayed on the website then I would unreservedly award 5 stars for the whole transaction.

Brilliant experience

We were a little hestitant to buy at first as never heard of company and didn’t know how it would be. However we were pleasantly surprised had someone call us to confirm our order was correct as had ordered 2 phones. One phone arrived next day as stated the other we had to wait for stock but we were kept updated the whole time. Can’t fault them would buy again :)
