A Golden Girls puppet show is opening in NYC next week

Golden Girls is coming back! Sort of. A new show is opening in NYC next week, with all four of your favorite ladies…as puppets. On Monday, October 3, That Golden Girls Show! - A Puppet Parody has its world premiere at DR2 Theatre. The 90-minute show features Sophia, Rose, Blanche, Dorothy, and, yes, cheesecake. It was created by Jonathan Rockefeller, who owns a theater and puppetry company and has worked with Baz Luhrmann.

Get your tickets now for the show, which runs through December 11. It’s the perfect thing to see while we wait for that Golden Girls–themed café to finally open.
