Richmond Hill police feed city employees Thanksgiving dinner

City of Richmond Hill employees and their families were treated to an early Thanksgiving dinner by the police department at the Wetlands Center in J.F. Gregory Park Wednesday.

They have been doing it for so long Richmond Hill Chief of Police Billy Reynolds doesn't remember exactly when it started but once again the city's police department treated all city employees and their families to an early Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday.

"It's been at least 10 years, maybe 15. We started doing it at the police department but we ran out of room there so we moved it here. It looks like we may have to find somewhere else, it looks like we are running out of room here," Reynolds said as he watched the line of guests file into the building.

Southern Image Catering and Eatery prepared the meal of turkey, ham and Thanksgiving fixings.
